600 SERIES

The 600 series control cabinets have been designed to serve a broader range of applications, including both domestic and commercial settings. These cabinets are intended to offer a versatile and adaptable solution that can accommodate various installation requirements. Here are the features of the 600 series control cabinets:

  1. Mains Distribution: Mains distribution involves the management and distribution of electrical power from the primary source to different circuits and devices within an electrical system. This feature is essential for controlling and distributing power effectively in both domestic and commercial applications. The 600 Series has 16 different mains options and we feel at control 101 that this should cover just about all installation requirements, however if you need something a little different then contact us and we can make you a bespoke mains circuit.

  2. Mains Segregation: Mains segregation refers to the separation or division of different power sources or circuits within the cabinet. This feature enhances safety and organization by keeping various mains and lower voltage circuits isolated from each other, preventing interference and ensuring the reliability of the electrical system.

As we mentioned that the 600 series control cabinets are adaptable and suitable for a range of installations, it's likely that they include additional features and capabilities beyond mains distribution. These additional features may include:

  1. Enhanced Space: The 600 series control cabinets might offer more space for mounting a variety of electrical components and control boards. This additional space could make them suitable for a wider range of control systems.

  2. Options for Door Plate: The availability of door plate options adds flexibility to the cabinet's design. These door plates can be used to house batteries or other equipment, depending on the specific needs of the installation. This feature allows for efficient use of space and organization of essential components.

  3. Battery Brackets: The option to purchase battery brackets further enhances the cabinet's adaptability, as it provides a dedicated solution for securely mounting batteries if they are required as part of the system. This is especially useful for backup power applications.

  4. Compatibility: The 600 series may be designed to be compatible with a broader spectrum of electrical equipment and devices, making them suitable for a diverse set of applications.

  5. Durability: For commercial applications, durability and robustness may be emphasized in the design to ensure that the cabinets can withstand the demands of a commercial environment.

  6. Customization: These cabinets provide users with the flexibility to personalize them according to their precise requirements and configurations.

  7. DIN Rail for Mounting Additional Equipment: The provision of 300mm of DIN rail within the cabinet offers ample space for mounting additional equipment such as loop detectors, magnetic locks, access control systems, power supplies (PSUs), and other components. This feature allows for easy customization and expansion of the control system.

  8. Safety Features: Given the potential use in commercial settings, the 600 series control cabinets might include additional safety features, such as double pole isolation, miniature circuit breakers and advanced grounding options.

  9. DIN Rail Configuration: Implementing a configuration whereby the control board is interconnected with DIN rail terminals and ancillary equipment, such as loop detectors, timer relays, and power supply units (PSUs), is conducive to the capacity for seamless addition, removal, configuration, reconfiguration, and fault-finding. This configuration can be accomplished through the utilization of links that bridge the DIN rail terminations.
